This website is hosted on our own, self-operated server (IONOS SE, Germany). When you visit the website, the server automatically collects technical information (server log files): IP address, date/time of the request, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is used exclusively for technical security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use our own, self-operated analytics script (track.js, not Google Analytics or a comparable third-party service) to see how often individual pages are viewed. This script works without cookies and without recognising individual visitors across multiple visits; no individual usage profile is created. Evaluation takes place exclusively on our own server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you place an order in our online shop, we process the data required to fulfil the contract (name, address, email, phone number where applicable, order contents) to process the order, arrange delivery and issue invoices. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). The data is processed on our central, self-operated system infrastructure at system.ebsportundtechnik.de (our own IONOS server, Germany); structured data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase (EU region Frankfurt).
For online payments we use the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). If you choose an online payment method, the data required for this (e.g. payment and card data) is transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there; we do not receive or store complete payment data ourselves. Via our booking system (system.ebsportundtechnik.de/bikes/anmeldung) you can request workshop and service appointments. We process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, requested service/appointment) exclusively to organise the appointment. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address to send you the requested content. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
On our website we display current reviews from our public Google Business profile. These are retrieved and displayed via our own system; no personal data about you as a website visitor is transmitted to Google in the process.
This website optionally offers a chat widget through which you can ask questions. If you use this feature, the messages you enter are processed in order to answer your enquiry. The chat runs on our own, self-operated system infrastructure (system.ebsportundtechnik.de) – no data is transmitted to external chat providers. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the chat leads to the initiation of a contract.
We optionally offer a WhatsApp contact option. If you use it, a direct connection to WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of the Meta group) is established; WhatsApp/Meta's privacy policy applies. We have no influence over how WhatsApp processes this data.
